Pahrump, Region 808 - We are here to enchance your child's soccer playing experience

Who are we?
We are a part of the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO), which is committed to creating a fun, fair, safe environment for teaching kids the great game of SOCCER! We are located in Pahrump, Nevada about 60 miles Northwest of Las Vegas, in Section 1, Area S, Region 808.

Our Region is dedicated to honoring the following AYSO principles:

 Open Registration (all children between the ages of 4 ^1/2 and 19 years are welcome to play… there are no team tryouts!)

 Balanced Teams (the best competition occurs between teams that are similar in terms of player experience and ability)

 Everyone Plays (each player will participate in at least half of each game)

 Positive Coaching (coaches are here to teach, develop skills and encourage our youth!)

 Sportsmanship (it's not about winning or losing… its about having fun, playing fair, and creating an enjoyable experience for all!)

Our Region is located in a small growing community and has a membership of approximately 550 players. We do not have a defined geographical service area and welcome anyone from our surrounding communities to participate. However, most of our players and coaches live in Pahrump; practices, meetings, games, etc. are set up with that in mind. Our closest neighboring Region, AYSO Region 1258, (60 miles to the SE) is located in Summerlin, NV. You may wish to check out their web site at www.ayso1258.com for additional details.

We have the following divisions within our region:

U6B - Boys between 4½ and 6 years old.

U6G - Boys between 4½ and 6 years old.

U8B - Boys between 6 and 8 years old.

U8G - Girls between 6 and 8 years old.

U10B - Boys between 8 and 10 years old.

U10G - Girls between 8 and 10 years old.

U12B - Boys between 10 and 12 years old.

U12G - Girls between 10 and 12 years old.

U14B - Boys between 12 and 14 years old.

U14G - Girls between 12 and 14 years old.

Our Region will support U16 thru U19 division depending on the demand or number of willing participants.

Each team usually plays 8-10 games during our fall season. The regular season games are typically conducted on Friday and Saturday evenings at Honeysuckle Park. Teams usually practice two evenings per week during the season.  Divisions U10 and above, participate in a double elimination playoff tournament during the last week of the season. Regular season games are 30 minutes for U6 divisions, 40 minutes for U8 thru U12 and 50 minutes for U14 and older.  Each game is divided into two halves with a player substitution period at approximately the midpoint of each half.  Registration for the fall season starts in May.
